is there a way to test two databases for corruption and integrity? I created one database, configured it and installed needed software, then backed it up. I then restored it from the dumped backup using another name, in order to test if it will give the same output. I keep receiving object.xxx and server errors, but do not know how to test if the data in both the original and restored databases are the same. Thanks. I can provide the dump of both databases if needed. Presumably, if I keep receiving errors, it means once a database is backed up, it must be RESTORED using the original name? Feedbak. Also, can the dump be used in another system? Yes? No? Thanks. Thanks.
