I deal with a non-profit organization which often receives donations. Many of these donations are consumables (e.g. 20 cases of Coke, cookies), some are services (e.g. broadband service), and some have real material value (e.g. a vehicle).
They need to track the donations in order to send thank you notes, but also for inventory purposes (e.g. cases of Coke) and accounting purposes (e.g. value of the donation).
Is there a recommended implemenation for this use case and does an example exist to model off?
