There is no default shop for the current user's company!
Hi, I created a sub-company in my database and i was creating a sale order when i suddenly got this error. "There is no default shop for the current user's company!" I don't know what to do. I am in v7. Thanks a lot
Go to Sales->Configuration->Shop
and create one for your new company.
You can then select it when you create the Sale Order
Note:
- In
Settings -> Users -> Users
make sure thatManage Multiple Locations and Warehouses
( which is underAccess Rights
) is checked for your account. - In
Settings->Configuration->Sales
, make sureManage multiple shops
is checked.
it works. I don't know what really happen but i suddenly see shop menu in sale->configuration->shop. and i did what you told in your first sentence. Thanks a lot KarimFor Spending all this time for me.
There is no «Manage multiple shops» in «Settings->Configuration->Sales».
In Odoo, «Manage multiple shops» is in «Setting->Configuration->Warehouse»
Thanks karim, but there is no shop at sales->configuration, what i see is sale teams, segmentation and things like that
In Settings - Users - Users
make sure that Manage Multiple Locations and Warehouses
( which is under Access Rights
) is checked for your account.

Please give your account administrative privileges and enable Technical Settings in the Access Rights page, after that go to Settings - Technical - User Interface - Menu Items
, search for Shop and let me know what you find, especially what you see in Groups when you open the item.
yes i did it and i found shop, And i cliked. the results is in this screenshot http://imgur.com/IUKRC04
I saw the first screenshot, for now I think the problem is not from there. Please go to Settings - Users - Groups
, search for Manage Multiple Locations
and open the result you find, let me know if your username is in the Users
list.
I think I figured it out, please check the last note in my answer, I updated it.
I have the same trouble after resetting several time the data base : it is impossible to make a quote. - I create a user - I create a child company - I affect the user to the child company
Then when making a quote (registered as the user for the child company), I have : "There is no default shop for the current user's company!"
Then I followed the Karim advice : Please give your account administrative privileges and enable Technical Settings in the Access Rights page, after that go to Settings - Technical - User Interface - Menu Items, search for Shop and let me know what you find, especially what you see in Groups when you open the item.
In the group I did add the user.
But the same impossibility to make a quote : "There is no default shop for the current user's company!"
I am glad to read that for daouda, it worked. She suddenly see the "shop menu" in sale->configuration->shop. But for me no such of luck. That's very odd an erratic. The only item I can see in this menu are : Sales Teams Contacts Segmentation Unit of Measure Categories Address Book Phone Calls Calendar Products Leads & Opportunities
