Hi,

I would like to know the preferred method to upgrade to the latest version of OpenERP v7, upgrade the db and upgrade all addons. There are a number of questions in this regard but nothing that provides a single view of the upgrade process.

Typically I have been running with: sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get upgrade

I would prefer to follow this method if possible rather than the bzr pull instructions as I seem to have a problem with the addons branch.

Please advise if this is possible and outline a step by step set of instructions.

When you are already running openERP 7, than your method of update/upgrade is sufficient to get all the code.

First get the most recent list of modules, Settings -> Update Module List To apply possible changes in the database, go to Settings -> Apply Scheduled Upgrade, and click on update. If a new screen pops up, click on Start Configuration.
