Server error when i update/upgrade on Ubuntu

I'm using "trunk version" and used the instructions in "nightly.openerp.com" to install openerp adding repositories to "souce-list".

The problem arises when I use "apt-get update, apt-get upgrade". If you want to change any settings, OpenERP gives me the following error:

ProgrammingError: column ir_act_server.website_path does not exist LINE 1: ...nk_field_id",ir_act_server."use_relational_model",ir_act_ser... ^

Does anyone know why is this error? How I can fix it?

If I create a new database, the error does not persist in that database.

If I go back to a previous version of my database (the only difference is that it has not installed any "website" module) either this error occurs.

Thanks!

Just curious if you're problem got solved? I had a similar problem when I tried to update. My database will not open on the updated version. Using v8 (trunk)

Helen, I stopped trying because It was unsuccessful. As could move, something new appeared. The problem is with the website modules. The road I followed is to have prepared the database without installing any module website, start working with it and wait for the release of the draft v8 is more advanced.

The error message "ProgrammingError: column ir_act_server.website_path does not exist LINE 1: ...nk_field_id",ir_act_server."use_relational_model",ir_act_ser... ^": mean that this column doesn't exist on the table.

Cause: you have probably uninstalled a module or desactivated some features that deleted this column.

Try to add this column directly in the postgres database table.

Do you remember which configuration actions did you performed in your OpenERP before/after the update?

For what it's worth, I am also seeing this error on Ubuntu when I update (apt-get upgrade) from the nightly trunk repository and I can't think of any changes in module installations or feature activation.

Try to install an old version. Just remove the current version and install a old version. You can get another version (released on february for example) on ubuntu nightly openerp repository. Download manually the old version on http://nightly.openerp.com/7.0/nightly/deb/

Rafael, I did not change any before or after. It would not be necessary to reinstall an earlier version, because if I use the database in which I did not install "website" modules have no problem. When you say add the line to the database I'm not clear on where i should add

I added the "website_path" column under "ir_action_server" and this error stopped appearing but now I can not uninstall any installed module. I get this new error:
