server access denied

hi,

When I try to make any changes to the database from the web client version 7 running on windows 7 ultimate 64bit. It happens when I try any option from the 'manage database' screen, duplicate, create, or change the password.

I have checked to make sure the database is connected as well.

I receive the following error message Server access Denied :

Server Access denied.

Please can someone advise me as to why this is happening?

There can be different problems. Can you post more information of the logfile? Have you installed PostgreSQL separately or together with the OpenERP installer?

I always track down that sort of thing by first ensuring I can get at the database with command line tools on a different machine.
