By using various aliases openERP is great at creating objects when an email is received.
I would like to take it a step further and use emails to log phone calls and meetings so that from a CRM point of view sales people can use GMail as their main point of call for communications (as has been mentioned many times openERP is not designed as a heavy duty mail client).
The aim would be to send an email to either:
- email@example.com or
and within the email have a system whereby fields are filled in. Depending on the alias used an object is created with the relevant fields collected from the email body.
Is this something that can be done?
