self-employed: two business how to odoo them without mixing them?

In an effort to start using some usefull software like odoo CRM only module a question pop up:

Can leads/oportunities workflow be managed on a per project basis? Say there is a taxi and an IT company. And it is a single man show. What is the best practise to start using odoo CRM? Should it be multi-company o perhaps there is a different way of separating the workflow. Can the taxi leads/oportunities live alongside the IT leads/oportunities without major problems (by problems I mean having to pay attentions not to send e-mails or text messages to wrong people).

thank you for any hints

If you run 2 different businesses, which are also not legally integrated, which is obviously the case, so just set-up Odoo and create a separate database for each business.
