While sending the email through invoice --> "Send By Email" button, i am getting below warning meassge.

Access Denied

The requested operation cannot be completed due to security restrictions. Please contact your system administrator.

(Document type: Directory, Operation: write)

Note : I have logged as a some other user. The user has most of the permission like  as an admin(without "settings" permission).

Sending invoice email, i have attached the additional document(pdf) with invoice pdf file. Additional document is created by admin user.

So it is giving the warning. How to solve this? Please help me....

Directory model (document.direcory) can be written by users that has Administration / Settings or Knowledge / Users access right by default.  Have you checked if the user have Knowledge / Users access?

You need to select Knowledge/User group for your users.

To check the access rights available for a model:
     1. Go to Settings --> Technical --> Database Structure --> Models
     2. Search for Directory (or model name)
     3. Go to Access rights page/tab.
     4. Here you can see the rights provided for the particular group.
     5. enable the access rights by adding group "Knowledge/User".
