We have running odoo with https and an etherpad on https integrated - all running fine. Thanks to this forum.

The pads could be read by everyone with the right access url:

e.g.: https://server:port/p/database-note.note-T3XXXEGUXX

When I change the settings.json in the etherpad-lite to password protected pads the pads are not reachable through odoo anymore.

Error: "You dont have the access rights to read this pad"

Is the idea that the 8 digits cant be guessed or is there a possibility to restrict access to the pads, other then through the api?
