Why RFQ is not created on running scheduler when stock level falls below minimum order qty?

A product "P" is Make to Stock and Buy. The minimum qty is 10 and maximum qty is defined as 20 in the minimum order rule. When the scheduler is run (Automatic Orderpoint is not checked), RFQ is expected to be created for 12 units. But it does not get created.

Procurement exceptions happen in the following conditions:

  1. No bill of materials defined for production: in this case you have got to create a BoM or indicate that the product can be purchased instead (change the Supply Method).
  2. No supplier available for a purchase: you have to define a supplier in the Supplier tab of the product form.
  3. No address defined on the supplier partner: you have to complete an address for the supplier for the product in consideration.
  4. Not enough stock: you have to create a rule for automatic procurement (for example, a minimum stock rule), or manually procure it.

Note: The default address for the supplier must be defined. If this is not set but invoice/delivery addresses are set, the scheduler will not create the RFQ.

1- Make sure you did a Buy route as below :

2- don't forget to assign it to the product or the product category
