Report Template is not being used when creating a pdf from Purchase Order

We are trying to print a purchase order in ODOO v8. Although the PO is created and a pdf document is printed it does not print the information onto the template, which we defined in Settings - General Setting - Configure Your Company Data.

The pdf contains all the information however it is not arranged correctly. It is just placed on an empty A4 page.

The template is displayed well on its on, when we preview it.

However it seems that during the pdf process of the Purchase Order is not using the template when creating the Purchase Order. Has anyone got an idea on how to fix this or what to check.
