(Using Odoo v8) When I create a PO with multiple items, the PO's Expected Date is always based on the item with the shortest Supplier Lead Time.

I was expecting it to be the longest.  What are the assumptions that the PO is making?

On Sales Orders I see an option to deliver items as the become available or when they are all available - the Shipping Policy. I don't see the equivalent for POs.

That the purchase order will be shipped in multiple shipments, the first being for the first product, with the shortest lead time. The others will follow based on their lead times. Since the choice to ship or hold is made by your Supplier, that's why I imagine you don't set that on a Purchase Order like you can on a Sales Order.

Absolutely Ray, that's the behaviour I'm seeing. I'm wondering if there's somewhere I can set "Deliver only when all the items are available,"  like I can when I purchase items from Amazon. Alternatively, something to tell me the maximum lead time for all the items on the PO.

Maybe that's an extension to Purchasing that we need to code ourselves...
