Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
I came across with the following scenario, and still cannot figure out how to solve it:
When packaging a certain product, we normally use 6 plastic bags, so when we created a list of materials, those 6 plastic bags are listed as units. However the problem arises as with the purchase of those plastic bags, as the supplier sell us bags per kilogram, being 1 kilogram equivalent to 54 bags.
So when create a production order that requires 600 plastic bags, those units are not getting converted to kilograms, (we setup a unit in the same category as kilograms, with a weight ratio for each individual bag) instead, we get an order for 600 kilograms, not the 11,11 Kilograms that contains those 600 bags.
Any help to sort this scenario out will be appreciated.
