I am implementing Odoo Enterprise V9 for our company. Our products have dependencies for other products, for example we have Phone System Server cost, and if this is selected for a quote, I want to make it mandatory that another product is added as it is needed for a phone system. So when a sales guy creates a new quote and chooses the Phone System Server item, the system requires him to add for the following products also:
SIP Trunks (sales guy will specificy quantity at that time)
DIDs (sales guy will specificy quantity at that time)
I know that the manufactoring module will allow you to create product that is comprised of other products, but my issue is that the dependant items all need to be shown and have customized quantities depending on customer needs. Does anyone have any idea on how I can handle this?
