I have made a fresh install. I install the Hello ( Module Name : web_hello). I made an copy of this folder mymodule and change the name. My administrator has Access Rights and Technical Features turn on. I use the Update Module List and search for "mymodule" nothing and the log file have no errors. I go to the folder and change the __openerp__.py and remove a " ' " so the syntax of the file is wrong. I again Update Module List AGIAN nothing but now the log file finds the syntax error. I correct it rum again Update Module List, no error on log but i cannot find the "mymodule". I search without any filter. All files into the add on folder are own by openerp and i have include addons_path =/opt/openerp/server/openerp/addons on the openerp-server.conf. What i am missing here ?

Are you trying to install it from: Settings>Modules>Apps?

When I'm looking for a lost module I go to Settings>Modules>Installed Modules and then I remove the "Installed" filter and there I can find my custom module.
