Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
Does anyone have experience of printing labels from Odoo using special label printers, like this:
What would be the best approach? Is it possible to just create precisely formatted PDF, that would printout correctly, or do we have to use special middleware to do the prints?
We have developped a specific report for one of our customer to use SATO CL 408E for their labels.
First, we have found the correct driver for the printer, ensure that it accepts standard PDF (the key of success) and installed it on the customer network.
Then, we've just developped a specific PDF report with the condition one label per page. You can easily design your label with the size of your labels.
Then, just configure the printing option by default with the correct layout of your labels and that's it.
The driver of the printer should normally manage with the offset configuration between two labels, etc...
Hope it helps !
