I am trying to add a print button to this simple module, but my skills aren't as good as I need to do the job. The module I am trying to modify is the awesomely simple PC_REPAIR from APREIMANTAS (I have no Karma, so you can find it in Google looking for "apreimantas pc_repair bitbucket") and the "only" thing I want to add is a Print button, to print a sheet to the customer and another to the technician when the customer comes with the broken PC, and another one to print a report when the customer goes to pick up.
Is this possible? Is easy enought to make?
Thanks a lot for reading!
Hello if you want to add a print button , to get a physical button to show , you simply need to add this to the form view (before the <sheet></sheet> )your xml file :
<form string=" repair shit" version="8.0">
<button name="print_sheett" string="sheet" type="object" class="oe_highlight" groups="base.group_user"/>
But to actually print out a sheet and send it to a printer that requires some further code ?
what type of sheet is it report / invoice / receipt , hopefully i can steer you in the right direction?
hope this was helpful
