Postgresql base/error: No space left on device

on 4/21/14, 2:34 AM 2,041 views

Hi all,

My server performance slowed down for a week and suddenly UI started giving an error message "no handler found" when i tried to openepr webpage URL. I can get any significant thing from server.log also. But when i experimented postgresql through pgadmin 3 when i tried to create a new database, it throws an error saying "Postgresl could not create database base/error: No space left on the device " I have only 4 databases with data less than 6 mb. Is this entirely because of the space unavaliablity of my server ? Or is there some thing else causing this problem.

Any help from on this would be greatful

Thanks in advance

I think there not enough space on your server thats why you facing this error, increase space on server this error will be solve.

Hi Jack thanks for your reply, i was checking my disk space specifically and xvda1 shows full and i understand t same as your wrote. I have to increase the space. But i have huge free space in xvdb not sure how to make use of this space to xvda1.
