Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
We need to create a POS of sale user/profile with rights to generate/print invoices from point of sale session. The normal pos user profile seems to not to have required rights to do so, when the user clicks on the Invoice the following error message is generated "the order could not be sent - check your internet connection"
How can we go about providing the required rights?
The problem is not the internet connection. Behind this false internet connection message, there is an underlying exception, that, in my opinion, pos interfase doesn't know how to manage, or how show to you. If you click in the red network icon, probably you will see the exception message, or I suggest to take a look to the server log.
In my experience, the user rights differ if you have installed additional modules, which add some constraints.. for example if you limit the access to the pos user to specific journals (sales, stock, payment) used by pos instance, you will have these kind of problems. To give a precise solution, is necessary to see the log.
