Bar code scanner searching the product in Point of Sale but did not select it and not clearing the search bar for next entry. In openerp 6.1 there is some patches in lunchpad to do it. I had done it successfully before. But in Openerp 7.0 I can't success to configure it. Your help will greatly appreciated.

Problem Solved by reinstalling from trunk.

Reinstall of OpenERP from source code solved my Problem. @5241 please see above in question section. I had add a new link with details.
I was having the same problem. The barcode scanner does capture the actual barcode and enters it into the product search field. However this field only works with product codes and descriptions. For those who are interested, I have found the following: http:// bazaar.launchpad.net/~guerrerocarlos/openobject-addons/pointofsale6.1barcode/revision/6700) I haven't tried it out yet but will give it a go and update this post.
Reinstalling Openerp 7.0 by following this guide (http://askitsolution.info/2013/01/openerp-7-0-installation/) solved my Problem. carlos solution in lunchpad is for 6.1 and pos in 6.1 have only one pos.js file. In openerp 7.0 there are I think upto 6 js files.
