Portal disabled, cannot send emails! [Closed]

We do not want to use the portal, but it is installed by default on other module.

If I disable the portal at Settings --> Configuration --> General Settings

I cannot send emails anymore.

Take a look at Settings --> Parameters --> System Parameters

Here you see 3 new entrys:

Key - Value

  1. mail.catchall.domain - your-alias-domain.net
  2. auth_signup.reset_password - False
  3. auth_signup.allow_uninvited - False

Solution: Delete the mail.catchall.domain - your-alias-domain.net entry and the email system work well again.
