Point of Sale with a perma-red button

From what I understand the button is supposed to be green and it appears red when there is a problem with your internet connection, but this is not the case and I read here that you should clear the cache if that is the case but that is not helping.

Are there any other suggestions to get this?

When led turns red, the order cannot be sent to OpenERP. So the database is not updated, and orders are not saved.

Take a look at the log file. You may see the cause. This can occur when you lost internet connection or if some PY function cannot be completed.

In case of Internet connection lost, just wait until connexion is up again. Orders will be sent at this moment.

In case of PY problem, log file could be helpful.

Yes, search on google for Local Storage on your actual browser. You've to go to check that Storage on your browser and you'll see your openerp orders that haven't been sent. You can delete that and your icon must be green if you click on it again
