I've got a point of sale system that prints receipts fine on my TSP100 printer, but when I print it on my Windows 8 machine, the text is all wrong. It's printing all sorts of odd characters, foreign letters and symbols instead of text. I'm printing from the system dialog in Chrome.

Firefox doesn't do the characer swaps, but it prints the receipt tiny an prints until the roll runs out of paper or I kill the power.

Uninstall any driver software related to the TSP100 from the control panel. Do the same for Google Chrome. Download the latest version of the TSP100 software here: http://www.starmicronics.com/support/DriverFolder/drvr/tsp100_v530_Lite.zip. and Google Chrome here https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/. Install Google Chrome first then install the TSP100 software in the /Windows/Installer folder with the printer off. See if you get the same issue.
