Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
The Odoo Point Of Sale has the big advantage to work offline, which is quite awesome.
But what happens if we lose internet connection (POS still works fine) and the operator closes the browser. I know that the data are still stored in the local storage but how does the operator come back to the session?
When I try to enter the POS Url http://www.mydomain.com/pos/web/ the browser says that it cannot connect to the internet.
So how do I come back to the POS session?

If you close the browser, the data cache will lose and you cannot run POS again. You have to connect the server again to retrieve the data. There is a module called pos_cache that saves POS data to the client site in order to speed up loading. But I'm not sure this module would solve your issue or not.
