Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
It looks like OpenErp has to reserve all products before starting a manufacturing order. It seems reasonable if you are manufacturing only one item in MO. But if your making several instances of a product then it hinders the whole production process. For example:
I have a BoM for product X which uses one of product Y and one of Z.
If I have 6 of Y and 7 of Z in stock and create a MO for 10 of X then the MO will stall in the "Waiting for Goods" state until it can reserve 10 of both Y and Z, even though I can already start production and make several final products X.
Does anyone know a way to circumvent this limitation in OpenERP?
