Might I suggest mrp_byproducts (V7,8,9)
You can configure by-products in the bill of material.
Without this module:
A + B + C -> D
With this module:
A + B + C -> D + E
Not really sure what the requirements are for a pig/cattle fridges, however, I would say you would probably need to make a few modifications to the products table to allow for any specifics such as butcher date, use by date, etc...
