Hi,

We have a database for our openERP that is quite huge. As far as i can see, we have 2 tables that are mostly responsible for that size : EDI_Document and ir_Attachment. Those 2 tables size 7 GB... My question is, is it possible to clean those tables (because we don't need the documents stored in it), and what could be the cleanest way to do it ? is it possible to clean from openERP itself ? can we configure something so those tables won't be filled again ?

I've seen that a module can be used to manage the document ? is it the way i'm looking for , or is it just another way to do the same thing (i.e. cleaning my database of unnecessary documents). What i've understood is that the module just tell that the documents are stored in a directory and no more in the database, which would be better than the present configuration...

Thanks in advance for your help regards
