Hi guys, 

Upgrading to Odoo after I figure this out. Hopefully there is someone here that can help. I am trying to export the contacts from OpenERP 6.1.1 to a csv file. This should be very simple. I've followed all steps, but when the export button is clicked, the gear thinking screen shows and goes away without any downloads, errors, or an option to select a file destination. I've roam the web for this issue with no solutions.   

I've tried under admin with no success.  What are my options? Suggestions?

Not sure what could be the root cause but you can create a python script to get all the contacts into csv file or create a XML-RPC script or use base synchro module to move the data.

Thank you for your response, but I am looking for a much easier solution than creating a python script.
