I am new to OpenERP Could anyone please help on customizing invoice fields and text , I have installed version 7 I would like to add few additional fields and also a custom text to the customer invoice

Hello, you have to activate developer's mode (help-> about openerp -> activate depeloper's mode) and then you 'll see a drop down menu in upper left corner. Go to ur invoice form and select from there "manage views".
