Hello,

We are testing ODOO on debian 8.0 and we are trying to use multithreading but when we set workers parameter > 0 IM chat don't work anymore and we have an error message in web navigator log and we don't see anymore a process on server listing on port 8072.

Could you confirm if both functionality are compatible ?

Regards,

in v8 setting xmlrpcs_interface = 127.0.0.1 and netrpc_interface = 127.0.0.1 didn't solve the problem as suggested in "https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/odoo-v8-how-to-configure-odoo-v8-with-workers-and-apache-reverse-proxy-95014"

I found the answer from : https://www.odoo.com/documentation/8.0/setup/deploy.html

LiveChat

In multiprocessing, a dedicated LiveChat worker is automatically started and listening on the longpolling port but the client will not connect to it.

Instead you must have a proxy redirecting requests whose URL starts with /longpolling/ to the longpolling port. Other request should be proxied to the normal HTTP port
