Hi! We have problems when using Odoo native mobile app. When logging in, quite often we only get white screen. Odoo works perfectly from PC and even from mobile device browser. But when trying to access it from the app, appr. 70% of access trials end up with white screen. We are using VPN connection to connect to our Odoo database. Access works from the same device from browser, but not from the app. Does anyone know what could be wrong here? We are using Odoo Enterprise version 12. See an example of the white screen on Ipad on https://ibb.co/T8ZpQMt

The white screen seems like loading page which sould disappear quickly, but for some reason it remains there. the same issue happens with any type of connections (great or bad, 3G, WLAN etc..)

Host he image on some hosting site and share the link here in the Comment.

Better uninstall the app and clear the cache

Install it again let it complete

User HTTPS in the url and use the correct credentials

Let it load properly

Use 4G and fast connection

Thank you for your comments! I believe the problem was, that we were using IP to log in to Odoo mobile. With IP you can't use HTTPS. So we changed to name and HTTPS and now it works :) Thank you for helping with this.

Hi,

We have a weird issue like this that when certain mobile users try and view a survey they'll get a white screen also. They can view the website but when they try and click on the survey link within facebook it loads a white screen. When they click "open in browser" it seems to work..

I am facing a similar Issue, i am trying to run the Odoo android app on a Point of sale machine with Android version 7.1.2, Model (rk3288). Our Odoo instance is running on Odoo SH so basically I do not have the option of providing the IP Address of the server. When I open the app, it lets me provide the URL, email and password, once that is done it just shows a blank white screen.

Hi, I have the same issue running Odoo on Zebra TC70s. Monday, we were able to login and use the app normally. Since yesterday, the app now only shows a white screen after login. Does not do this on other devices (these other devices run iOS). I have tried the suggested above but that did not work.

Hi Martin, at some of our devices we need to use IP address to access Odoo and URL doesn't work, and in some the URL (name ) works but IP doesn't. I still don't understand why it is like that. The good thing is, it works, once you have figured out which one works for that specific device.
