It seems Odoo Community edition doesn't have the new design which you see in Trials.

They have mentioned the same in Pricing on the odoo website the differences between paid and the community edition.

Is there anyway to get the New Design only? Is odoo correct in removing the new features from community edition?

Also there are lot of other things which are not present in Community Edition.. like appraisals, what if we only want a particular feature to be bought and not complete enterprise edition..

Hi,

They keep the two editions sepeartely because, users can try the open source version and at some point if they need they can buy the enterprise edition. Odoo need both the hands, community and enterprise, at the same time needs to earn more revenue. So that they can also use it in improving Odoo Community. If you want to get the features in Enterprise edition, even if its one or more, you need to either pay it or custom code it. So to get more revenue, restricting some features like design, shipping integration, payment gateways etc was the option for them I think. Anyway some people still like the old design ;)
