hi i run openerp 7 on windows 7 and when i reboot my system sometimes it comes up with the error...'no handler found' i have uninstalled and reinstalled openerp almost 7 times cos of this..can someone please help me?
Same problem happens with me & i have resolves as given below:
Stop OpenERP Service.
Go to addons (e.g- C:\Program Files\OpenERP 7.0-20130623-231037\Server\server\openerp\addons) and check the last update or install module using date of creation or update in the folder list. Cut the folder to the another place.
However I have a last day copy of addons folder from where I restore the folder.
Start OpenERP Service. -- Done. Resolve
For better practice always keep your addons folder backup before update and install module and PostgreSQL backup at-least once in a day.
Keep in mind default files and folder while fresh OpenERP install is listed below :
base; base_quality_interrogation.py; base_quality_interrogation.pyc; DefaultFileList.txt; web; web_analytics; web_api; web_calendar; web_diagram; web_gantt; web_graph; web_hello; web_kanban; web_linkedin; web_shortcuts; web_tests; web_tests_demo; web_view_editor; __init__.py; __init__.pyc;
Hi, I have the same problem.
I have no idea what caused the Error, all i did was trying to connect to openerp through "localhost:8069". I am faced with " No Handler found" I tried restarting OpenERP and postgre services but it did not solve my problem. I am not able to open my Log file " C:\Program Files (x86)\OpenERP 7.0-20130311-002114\Server\server\openerp-server.log" in order to check was is written inside.
Can this be the issue ?
Appreciate any help on this matter. Thank you
