It's taking me too much time to study RML and etc to make a one time change for all the reports that we intend to use. I want to edit the template for these reports to be printed on computer generated paper

That's pretty much it. I've googled about webkit report and etc, but the addons does not install invoice report and etc. Please advice if anybody is able to help out with this. I already have an idea of the layout, it'd be pretty easy (maybe a 10 min job) for those who knows how to do it.
You can use
Openoffice Report Designer which is quite easy to create new report or to edit an existing report for any module in OpenERP. You just need to download the
OpenOffice Report Designer module and configure your local openerp server in the
OpenOffice , so that you can download any existing report and edit or create a new one. After finalizing the report you can export it to your openerp server.

Yes I've played with that. It is somewhat buggy. For example the original invoice from openerp has a "source" field. Upon downloading and reuploading it, the field disappeared. More that than the layout would then be messed up. When trying to create a new report, it take forever to get the field to load from the server. It's really slow. I don't understand why'd something so simple and crucial so difficult to get done in openerp
