Hi

We are taking some stock from our warehouse to a trade show location. At the trade show we may sell some of that stock or give away some samples. I need to trace how much stock has been moved to the trade show location, how much is left over in my warehouse and then log the returned stock back in later when it arrives back from the trade show. Then I want to balance what I have recorded as sold or given away there with my warehouse total. What is the best way to do this?

I have tried a few methods with internal stock transfers but have not yet found the solution

I think for this we can define a one internal location for trade show.

And with use of that we can make an internal moves.

or

You can have a customization for this and cutomize sales order and create moves from there so you can figure out stock qty at your preferred location.

I agree with serpent Consulting, but you have also to create a Shop ("e.g Tradeshow Shop") linked to the Trade Show Location, and make your sales from this shop.
