Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
Openerp / Odoo offers only 2 options to define how to handle your accounts and tax returns which are either 'monthly' or 'quarterly'. Unfortunately here in Ireland we have a to submit a return every two months (bi-montly).
Has anyone experience the same problem and did you find any solution? I can hardly see myself asking Revenue to put us on a monthly basis on the pretext that our accounting package doesn't support bi-monthly ;-)
Thank you for all your advice...
Using Monthly Periods or 3 Months Periods is not mandatory,
You can create your own periods: When opening a Fiscal Year (let's say 2014), you can create a Bi-Monthly periods, From 1st January 2014 to 28 Feb 2014, from 1 Mars to 30 Apr 2014, and so on ...
