With the imminent launch of V8, this forum will be in for more hard work than ever before. There have been several posts about periodic crashes. Response time for page loads has declined noticeably since last February.

The platform seems to be OSQA

Is OSQA not performant enough for 10,000 users?
Has help.openerp.com been keeping up with release updates of OSQA?

Does the host server need an upgrade?

AnswerHub, the creators of OSQA, charge $7,000 per month to host a site with 10,000,000 page views per month, which is around what OpenERP would spend on a part-time administrator. I'd guess we're still under 2,000,000 pvs, which would cost $2,500. ( Pricing )

Would it make sense to have AnswerHub host the site?

It's Askbot, not OSQA.

Ah. Ok. Thank you. (I did say, "seems to be OSQA".) I went looking for QA management systems and OSQA looked so similar to ours here that it didn't occur to me to look further. Do you know who's in charge of this (OpenERP's) QA forum?
