Enter http://Help.OpenERP.Com and it's auto-magically converted to a link with the URL Help.OpenERP.Co (notice the missing "m".)

Even with the following format it fails

http://Help.OpenERP.Com

Ok, there is surely a bug here, but why do you put caps letters in your url? http://help.openerp.com

Hi @Guewen; My therapist partner says "Never ask 'why' questions... it's always just an invitation to argue." I'm not sure that I agree with her. I capitalize URLs like http://MooreWorks.Net for clarity. I suppose you could ask "Why do programmers put that underline in their field names?" or "Why do

you include punctuation?" I do it to make it easier for the reader to understand and remember what I'm trying to tell them. Hmmmmm... hTTP://mOOREwORKS.nET doesn't work as well; what do you think?

Hello Dale, which browser did you have the bug with? (and OS + machine). Can you still reproduce it?

Note: you have to use the same case to have the issue, if you write the url with small letters, you'll be fine.

hTTP://mOOREwORKS.nET <-- IMO, that's not a bad thing that it doesn't work in that case, this one is quite strange. :)

Discussion about the case-sensitiveness of urls in stack overflow.

Anyway, you should avoid uppercases in urls.

Sure there are specifications from formal authorities, but; I can think of no single instance that I've encountered a problem with mixed case URLs and eMail addresses. DaleEMoore@gMail.Com works just as well as dALEemOORE@GmAIL.cOM everywhere. Also http://MooreWorks.Net and http://mOOREwORKS.nET.

Wouldn't it be lovely this http://Help.OpenERP.Com "add comment" displayed the name of the previous commenters? Then I wouldn't have to go back and look up the name.

@"Gilles Major" I (pretty much always) use google chrome.

Only use lower case in your Top Level Domain (com!)

Place no upper case characters in the URI Scheme (http!)
