Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
Fiew month ago, I developped a little module that reproduce one Excel functionnality in OpenERP Web, allowing user to tip '=45+7' in float field.
I shared that module in my personnal repository lp:openerp-grap-shared/7.0. 'web_field_float_compute' Available in apps here.
Last month, I decided to propose the merge in a community project lp:web-addons/7.0. The module is now named 'web_widget_float_formula' and is available here.
So there is now 2 modules, one obsolete and one maintened by community. My questions is : Do I have to remove the obsolete module ?
- If yes, what happens for people (74 downloads and maybe some other people using it directly via bzr branch) they use the module and they want to do an update of their modules ?
- If not there is 2 modules with similar functionalities in apps... Not very good.
Thanks for your answers about good practices.
