Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
It is a mess how people is managed on openerp.
First we have the users that go into res_users and res_partner. When we start we open the company (our) and we fill it with users. Then on human resources we have the employees. (hr_employee)...which seems nohing to do with the others.
Second on Events module the speaker by default doest show any user ( I went by hand and flagged them as employee on res.partners) which later leads to the error "The 'User' field of record Test (event.event) does not refer to res.users".
it was a good thing to combine tables res_users and res_address, the same should be made with res_products and res_product_template. and with these user tables
