I am looking at the Associaton & Membership modules for a sports club. They need to have members check in/out using their membership cards. Has anyone enabled somthing like this with OpenErp? The purpose is to know how frequently each member visited the club.

This is module that allows you to create any kind of scenarios on any model using a barcode scanner that you connect directly on OpenERP.

Well ok it is a module designed for logistic and people aren't really "in stock". But, as this module is quite generic it shouldn't be that hard to make the needed scenario and it would do the job.

So how would someone determine what it takes to use this addon with V7?

As far as I know, there are no working release in v7 yet. Not sure when it will be ported, there are some issues with the oerplib used to connect to openerp v7. A good thing would be to include that module in community branches on launchpad. Would be a good thing to know what Syleam think about it.
