We have discovered an issue in Openerp 7.0 in which the ORM intermittantly takes 30+ seconds to respond to requests.

We are running approximately 20 users with pretty light use (not everyone is using it at the same time) and its running on a server with 24 cores, 64gb ram and an enterprise SSD raid array. We have tried mucking around with every setting we can think of in regards to openerp and postgres configuration as well as trying things like pg_bouncer and looping openerp requests in python scripts to log the intermittent issues we have decided that it can only be some kind of bug in the core framework of openerp.

We are looking for someone who can assist to debug and fix the error in the core python files. Please note that we have already tried a lot of suggestions by experts in postgres as well as having exhausted most configuration options such as playing with workers and all of the other settings surrounding them.

If you only know how to make openerp modules you are not qualified for this task. We need someone who can play with the python code in the ORM. We have tried to get support from odoo themselves however they will not support any version below 8.0
