Is there any way to configure costing and profit centers in openerp v7?

hi all,

Am just trying to understand that is it configurable to make cost accounting into OpenERP ? if yes can some one kindly share know the ideas ?

Or it has to be achieved through customization ?

Yes you can create cost center and Profit centers in OpenERP using analytic accounts.
