If yes, what is the url to access it ?

If not, do you plan on making it ?

All points to the current web client becoming responsive. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsive_web_design

The 6.1 mobile client has been removed from v7 because it is too much work to maintain and improve considering it's a whole separate client.
OpenERP 7 doesn't come with a mobile client.
The vision for the future (8.0? 9.0?) is to use the same client on mobile devices (or any intermediary device like tablets) than the web client for desktops and to make it adapt to smaller screen sizes in terms of layout, elements, and usability. This will dramatically decrease the maintenance efforts for that piece.
Eg: go to smashingmagazine.com and resize your browser's width. You will see how elements are reorganized on the fly with only CSS and javascript.

A responsive design ? I have to design a mobile interface for CRUD products in the database. Is there a way I could work together with other people on this feature ?

Dear Fabrice, is it not possible to access OpenERP 7 through mobile browser right now? do we have to wait untuk version 8 released? The fact is I cannot access OpenERP 7 through my Samsung Galaxy Mini browser and several tablets with higher Android version. Please explain. Thank you

@Siti You can access it with a mobile device but it will be a pain in the butt navigating around.

As Francisco says, you can access it but it is not "made for mobile".

For the record, just came across this project by an OpenERP employee, containing the source code of an Android client. Screenshots look interesting. https://launchpad.net/openerp-mobile

any idea how to install it?

Hi Anoop,

How far are you with the mobile client/app?

Has anyone seen any working versions of Mobile framework which can be customised?

Thanks Rohit

Hi Everyone,

We are working on a feature rich android application for OpenERP V7. Some of our good clients are funding 20% of the project and the rest is coming from crowdsourcing. We are planning to build this in the best way that it will have connectivity with V8 also. While we appreciate any contribution, it would be helpful if you can share the idea via your social circles. Also anyone willing to help us in translating the app to non English, we would highly appreciate.

Please check out the detailed features list in the campaign under Gallery tab. Please go to indiegogo and search for openerp android app.

Thanks,

Anoop Menon

not clear where you can find your Module/website. You mention one should go to the "Gallery tab" ... mind to provide the link where to find that? Is yours the same project mentioned above https://launchpad.net/openerp-mobile ?

For a couple of ours clients we developed an Android Based Sales Force Automation Tool. It’s a native android application with an embedded database that synchronize with OpenERP.

The Offline mode of mFormix guarantees its use even in the most remote places. . This helps sales get to the right information as fast as possible instead of waiting for downloads. In areas without wifi or 3G coverage mFormix will be fully functional , Orders will be stored locally until the next synchronization. The synchronization is a two-ways process ensuring updates your local and remote databases: • Synchronization Mobile -> Server: orders created on the mobile device will be sent to the server. • Synchronization Server -> Mobile: any update on your data in server side (customers, Product) will be sent to mobile device to ensure data accuracy Whether you are using OpenERP 6.1 or 7.0, mFormix runs automatically without any need for additional configuration. mFormix is available in three languages: French, English and Spanish.

An free evaluation is available on Google play: search for mformix

Feedback is Appreciated and welcome. Not completely sure on what to do with this in the future: -Put it for free on google play as a marketing tool. - Keep the eval and sell services to deploy it in production. -Sell it for a fee on the google market. Will be interested in you insight on this and to discuss

your module is buggy...cant login even..its giving error "unfortunately your module is stopped"

Thank you Vardan for your feedback. Would you be kind enough to let us know which version of the application you tested. We just issued a fix for connection problems in GooglePlay that shoud fix you issue. Please feel free to revert back to us if you still experiencing problems. OpenERP@targa-consult.com

Hello Everyone,

Not sure if anyone are familiar with Odoo/OpenERP. And we are using it as internal ERP. By default it doesn't have mobile client. But I found out that it is currently under development and I requested to become a beta tester.

So far I have tested:

- Basic functionality of working with Leads (Sales module)

- Accounting module

- Project management module (Projects, Tasks)

- Organizer (planning meeting and synchronize to my phone calendar)

I'm pretty satisfied. Design is rather basic, but they claim to renew it soon. Also I pointed out to some usability issue, but seems now it is fixed and navigation is much faster.
