Is there a way to let a salesman view (and thus also sell) only part of the products in OpenERP?
Example: I've got 3 products (A, B and C). Salesamn X can only sell product A and B, and salesman Y can only sell product A and C...

Yes we can do it but a little customization is needed. Initially in the product or product category master created fields like sales person or sales team. So that assign each Product/Category with some sales paerson or sales team. So that you can define rules in groups depening on newly created sales person or sales team fields.
This is just for my idea. If you found any better alternative please let me know.
