On a normal openerp installation a user would assign an account to a bank/check journal and use this journal on payment wizard for purchase orders.

Is there way to have also an analytic account in parallel with these payments.

a use would be on bank accounts. In our country's chart of accounts (Iran) we use this structure for bank accounts:

  • -Banks

    --Banks (IRR)

    --Banks(Other currencies)

and we use analytic accounts for mapping transactions on specific bank accounts. analytic chart of accounts would be like this: -Banks

-- Melli

-- -- Melli down town

-- -- Melli Azerbaijan Branch

-- Sade-rat

-- --Sade-rat Ahvaz

...

with this structure there would be an efficient usage of main accounts, and it would be much simpler.

but in openerp's current process banks should be main accounts and for every bank account there should be a journal pointed to that account. this journal will then be used on payments.

so long said, is there a way to use only one account and one journal but setting different analytic account on payments?
