Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
I know OpenERP SaaS does not accept any custom module.
But maybe some specific customers are willing to have a SaaS option with non-official modules (always the same ones). (For customer to whom official SaaS is enough I would not go through this and recommend the offical OpenERP SaaS service).
So, instead of just installing OpenERP in a virtual or cloud server for each customer, I just wonder if it is possible to set up our own SaaS service, what would it imply and how could it be achieved. Any hint, tutorial, manual?
I don't think there is a very big sales prescence on this forum so your question would be answered faster (If not simply ... answered), if you get into contact with OpenERP sales directly.
As far as I know though, there is no functionality for this I'm afraid, however, depending on the size of the deployment, I am sure you can find a partner to manage cloud hosting for you.
