I'm using an ir.actions.server model to do some logic and then open up a view, similar to how the HR Timesheets -> My Current Timesheet does it. Is there any way to get this view to default to edit mode, as if the user had already clicked the Edit button?

I think it has to be changed in the code and that's the difference between a page view and a form view.

The forums, when you click "Convert as an answer," get the attribution wrong, and it looks like this is my answer. This was from Ray and was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Ray.
