We have some modules that our client love :)

Is there a way to have them approved in Saas offer. Should we as partner pass some validation or review process ?

The SaaS offer do not allow custom code whether it's developed by a partner or by OpenERP SA.

At 35€/user and per month, we can not take the risk to integrate custom modules. If we take just one day to upgrade a customer to a future version due to this module, we already loose all our margins. So, the SaaS offer only rely on standard modules, for which we are sure they are developed and maintained efficiently.

The only way to get your module to the SaaS offer is to make it become part of the official version of OpenERP: it's slow (as it is for the next release) and we are very strict when selecting new modules to integrate. We want to keep the global/official scope maintainable.

We prefer to improve/clean existing features rather than adding new features. So if your module goes into that direction, this is feasible.

Ok I understand this. I will ask an other question in an other thread :)
